Spinner dolphins live on the calm waters on the west shore of the island year round. You are guaranteed to see dolphins with a company called Dolphin Excursions. You get to get in the water and snorkel with WILD dolphins. This is not Sea World these are wild dolphins in their natural habitat. I have personally done this tour numerous times with friends and family. It is always a blast to get up close and personal with these beautiful animals. The tour goes like this: you go out on the boat shown below, spend 15 minutes watching them from the boat, 20 to 30 minutes in the water snorkeling with the dolphins, then you go to a shallow reef to go snorkeling and see sea turtles up close. During the winter months (Dec-Apr) you will have a chance to see humpback whales.
There are two main Luau's on Oahu which are both located on the west side of the island and provide some of the best sunsets.

Learn to Stand Up Paddle/Surf
Learn to surf from the pros. This is the only operation that is endorsed by C4 paddle boards to teach on the island of Oahu. They will customize the tour to your needs. Most people bring the whole family to learn on calm waters of Kaneohe Bay. However, for the experienced ones in the group or the ones that are looking for more of a challenge they will take you to the waves and teach you how to catch whatever you are comfortable. You can surf 365 days a year on Oahu, you just have to know where to look and what is safe.

If you are already an experienced Oahu has a variety of sites to choose from wether its: Reefs, Walls, Drift dives or Wreck dives. If it is your first time out Scuba Diving is very safe and relaxing activity when done together with trained professionals. Anyone from 10 years onward in normal health can participate in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program and experience the thrill of being able to breath underwater. You can even get certified in as little as 3 days with the Padi Open Water Diver Course.
After a few minutes of instruction and gearing up take in the views of the North Shore on the 15 min flight up to jump altitude. Step into the doorway strapped to the chest of your certified instructor. Just one small step and you will reach speeds close to 120mph. After your free fall the instructor will deploy the parachute for the two of you as you once again take in the views ocean and reefs as you both sail back down to the airfield. Must be 18.
