Waimanalo Beach and Bellows Beach are one in the same and their beautiful white sand stretch the 5 mile extent of Waimanalo Bay.  The beach is safe year round for children and adults of all ages and there are 3 lifeguard towers to give you piece of mind.  Waimanalo Beach is on the windward side of the island away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and Honolulu but only a short 20 min drive away.  There are a variety of shopping and dinning options in Waimanalo and in Hawaii Kai or Kailua which are less than 10 minutes away.  There is great snorkeling offshore where there is more coral or you can drive a few minutes away to Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.  Waimanalo Beach was rated the 9th best beach in the US for 2011.
